About The Position

Mass General Brigham Medical Group (MGB MG) is seeking an experienced, Board-Certified Physician leader to serve as Medical Director, Express Care in the Pioneer Valley region of Massachusetts. This leadership role provides oversight of up to four Express Care centers across the Pioneer Valley region and plays a key role in advancing clinical excellence, operational performance, quality, safety, and strategic growth. Requirements

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of an accredited residency program.
  • Board Certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine-Pediatrics.
  • Unrestricted Massachusetts medical license (or ability to obtain).
  • Current DEA certification.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior leadership experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or ambulatory care settings strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight for up to four MGB Medical Group Express Care locations.
  • Partner with operational and clinical leaders to advance quality, patient safety, patient experience, and performance.
  • Supervise and mentor Physicians, Lead APPs, and APPs.
  • Support provider recruitment, onboarding, training, and professional development.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies, protocols, and best practices.
  • Monitor quality metrics, patient experience, and regulatory compliance.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, service line growth, budgeting, and operational initiatives.
  • Partner with Revenue Cycle and administrative teams to ensure documentation, coding, and billing compliance.
