About The Position

Lexus of Cool Springs is seeking a skilled and motivated Full-Time Express Automotive Service Technician to join their team. This role focuses on delivering fast, expert service and outstanding customer care for luxury vehicles. The technician will collaborate with the service team, perform minor services, conduct multi-point inspections, identify repair needs, and communicate findings to the Service Advisor. Maintaining shop cleanliness and adhering to Lexus standards are also key aspects of the position.

Requirements

Strong commitment to safety - consistently use PPE, back belts, safety glasses, and shoes
Ability to stand and walk for long periods
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Dependable, team-oriented professional with a passion for quality service
All applicants must be at least 19 years old
Able to pass pre-employment testing which includes background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver's license for at least 3 years

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the service team to deliver efficient, expert care on every customer vehicle
Perform minor services including lube, oil, and filter changes, following all dealership and manufacturer procedures
Conduct thorough multi-point inspections on each vehicle (Customer Pay, Warranty, Extended Warranty)
Identify all legitimate service and repair needs and document recommendations in the Multi-Point Inspection (MPI) report
Prepare accurate estimates for additional work and communicate findings to the Service Advisor for guest approval
Assist fellow technicians with light mechanical duties as needed
Maintain excellent communication with Service Manager, Service Consultants, and technicians to meet Lexus time standards and exceed guest expectations
Keep the shop clean and equipment calibrated to Lexus standards
Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to a smooth, professional shop environment
