Meta's Global Trade Operations team partners with internal business units and external stakeholders to enable fast, compliant, and efficient cross-border movement of goods and transfers of software and technology. We support Meta's product teams and Infrastructure, Reality Labs, and Enterprise supply chains, and work closely with Legal, Tax, Engineering, and Finance to build sustainable, scalable trade compliance practices for a rapidly growing global footprint. Trade Operations sits within Meta's Global Scaled Compliance Operations (GSCO) team and is responsible for operationalizing trade compliance programs at scale—building and sustaining the processes, systems, controls, and metrics that enable Meta to move goods and transfer software, and technology, compliantly and efficiently. This Export Controls Program Lead, Intangibles will serve as the strategic architect and program owner for Meta's software and technology export controls compliance program within Trade Operations. This individual contributor will be responsible for the execution and continuous improvement of the end-to-end program —processes, systems, controls, and metrics—that enables Meta to manage export control compliance obligations for intangible transfers at scale. This role requires deep expertise in the U.S. and non-U.S. export controls regulations with a proven ability to build scalable compliance programs and drive strategic improvements across cross-functional teams. This role requires an individual who can exercise sound independent judgment and translate emerging regulatory trends and policy signals into proactive operational changes.
