About The Position

The Export Compliance Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of export compliance processes for the enterprise. The role will ensure material is properly exported and shipped in accordance with established corporate policies and procedures as well as US Customs Regulations and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

Requirements

• Experience dealing with freight forwarders, customs brokers, supply chain, purchasing, and logistics with previous experience in creating and reviewing export/import documents.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Exhibits strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Demonstrates strong computer skills and proficiency using MS Office Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
• Ability to work in an office environment
• Required to sit and stand for long periods; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (Frequent)

Nice To Haves

• PVF Experience and Knowledge is a Plus
• Bilingual is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide Customs necessary documentation as required.
• Prepare necessary export documentation (SLI, Pro-forma Invoices, etc.) ensuring compliance with US Government regulations as well as corporate policies.
• Complete sales order entries
