Exploitation Analyst (EA)
About The Position
As an Exploitation Analyst (EA) with AeroVironment, you will support offensive cyber operations by aligning technical requirements with identified areas of interest. You will collaborate with stakeholders at every level to identify project objectives and conduct vulnerability research, and inform and educate organization leadership about new techniques, developments, and challenges. The role involves target analysis, developing exploitation tradecraft and operational concepts, working with mission partners to analyze intelligence, advising organizational components, guiding customers through cyber planning and operations, and briefing senior leaders.
Requirements
- Prior exploitation analyst experience; Red Team experience may be considered.
- Knowledge of computer security principles, vulnerability analysis and research, and exploitation techniques.
- Deep technical knowledge of network connectivity concepts, principles, and methods, such as TCP/IP, DNS, and TLS.
- Experience conducting traffic analysis and using associated tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, and libpcap.
- Proficiency with Python.
- An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- At least 4 years of experience supporting the Intelligence Community in a cyber analyst or Exploitation Analyst role.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must provide documentation verifying U.S. person status for ITAR/EAR compliance; some positions may require current U.S. citizenship due to contract requirements.
