CHS Southwest Grain is looking for an Expert Retail Operations Specialist at its Dickinson, ND location. In this hands-on role, you’ll manage daily retail operations, assist customers with product needs, and help keep the location running efficiently. Requirements

3+ years of experience in Operations and/or Business Operations

Nice To Haves

Ability to operate machinery such as loaders, conveyors, tractors, and track mobile
Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons to meet business demands
High School diploma or GED
CDL license or ability to attain one with Hazmat endorsement
Agriculture experience
Forklift certification

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day retail operations for feed, animal health, and related products at the location.
Work with customers in a courteous and professional manner to understand needs, answer questions, and provide product support.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through timely service, follow-up, and knowledgeable recommendations.
Maintain knowledge of products handled at the location and support customers with appropriate product information.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory management to help ensure products are available to meet customer needs.
Order products and coordinate replenishment to support retail operations and customer demand.
Assist with stock additions and product updates in company systems, including Agris, as needed.
Receive, organize, stock, and maintain feed, animal health, and related inventory in retail and warehouse areas.
Operate a forklift and other equipment as needed to move, load, unload, and organize products safely and efficiently.
Support warehouse operations at the location, including loading/unloading inventory and maintaining organized storage areas.
Monitor and maintain quality and condition of inventory, including packaged and warehouse-stored products.
Keep retail, warehouse, and work areas in a clean, orderly, and safe condition through regular housekeeping and organization.
Promptly report customer concerns, inventory issues, repair or maintenance needs, or safety concerns to supervisor.
Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
Perform other duties as needed or assigned to ensure the location operates smoothly and customers receive excellent customer service.
