Expert Program Manager
About The Position
The Program Manager, Expert position within Electric Asset Excellence (EAE) is responsible for managing aspects of the EAE program with a primary focus on maintaining ISO 55001 certification for PG&E’s electric asset management. Responsibilities typically include some or most of the following in support of Program Management to ensure attainment of program metrics/objectives. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory. Travel can be expected 15-25% across the service territory.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
- 8 years of related experience or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Masters Degree in job-related discipline or equivalent experience
- PMI-Project Management Institute PMP-Project Management Professional certification
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft 365 applications
- Strong communication skills
Responsibilities
- Managing relationships with and providing direction to vendor(s)
- Developing Audit/Surveillance Visit schedule and agendas related to ISO 5501 certification.
- Tracking and trending Third-Party assessments and any findings, recommendations or requests for information.
- Developing and monitoring budgets and forecasts
- Developing, measuring and reporting on status of the program
- Identifying stakeholders and communicating within and outside of PG&E
- Developing and/or implementing policies and procedures
- Reviewing and updating standards, procedures and other general guidance documentation
- Identifying new partners, technologies, and delivery channels
- Preparing presentations and delivering material related to program performance to leaders across the enterprise.
- Partnering with the various internal organizations, vendors and external partners to develop and implement strategies to reach appropriate audience at the appropriate time
- Identifying and maintaining strong working relationships with all strategic programs and partners
- Partnering with Regulatory and Compliance coworkers to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and support regulatory activities by supplying information for filings, data requests, and meeting with regulators.
- Applies broad expertise and advanced knowledge to wide-ranging issues.
- May act as a team lead and provide direction to less experienced employees.
- Works with Sr. Directors, Directors and Managers across functions to influence decisions.
- Communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences using a variety of media.
- Integrates industry knowledge related to data into everyday business practices and decision making.
- Provides others with guidance around complex industry regulatory and compliance environment and considerations.
- Creates new and complex data models to facilitate business decisions.
- Provides direction on overall program.
- Performs in-depth quality assurance final reviews and contract drafts.
- Develops new or revises existing scopes of work to ensure compliance standards and deliverables are established.
