About The Position

Arcosa Specialty Materials is searching for an Expert Mobile Equipment Operator for our Bouse Junction, OK plant. In this role you will support a positive safety culture by directing the activities and staff within a 24/7 aggregate environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards. As an Equipment Operator, you will revolve around continuous batch operations while monitoring multiple systems within the production process through computer automation. Arcosa Specialty Material is a leading producer and distributor in the Western and Southwestern U.S. of lightweight and natural, aggregates, including expanded shale and clay, crushed stone, sand and gravel, asphalt rock, and other products.

Requirements

3+ years loader experience.
Prompt, regular and predictable attendance.
Ability to operate at least 2 pieces of mobile equipment (haul truck, water truck, backhoe, front loader, etc.).
Passing Drug & Physical Testing and Background check
Mine Safety Training (MSHA) – will train upon hire.

Responsibilities

Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.
Perform equipment inspections.
Operate all types of mining equipment in an efficient manner in all weather conditions in a mining production environment.
Operate at least 2 pieces of mobile equipment (haul truck, water truck, backhoe, front loader, etc.).
Attend scheduled departmental and safety meetings.
Comply with strict safety procedures, following all MSHA guidelines.
Observe production and monitoring equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Clean and maintain equipment.
Operate equipment in quarry or production.
Communicate and work with other departments.
Attend scheduled departmental and safety meetings.
Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned.
