About The Position

The Expert Associate Partner will serve as a thought leader supporting Bain’s strategic growth in the Commercial Excellence practice, with a focus on B2B pricing. The role helps clients address strategic pricing issues, improve business outcomes, and supports client development. Commercial Excellence is a rapidly growing practice, and the position has both regional and global scope, working with practice stakeholders to define priorities and share learnings across geographies. Approximately 70%–80% of the role is client service, with the remaining 20%–30% focused on client development and capability building, including intellectual property development, new tools, and partnership evaluation. The Expert Associate Partner works alongside client engagement teams, develops relationships with client pricing, finance, sales, and sales operations leaders, and provides expertise in B2B pricing strategy, pricing implementation, and enablement. The role also strengthens Bain’s pricing capabilities and offerings by developing products, tools, analytics capabilities, and thought leadership; supporting delivery-model improvements and third-party partnerships; and contributing to recruiting, training, and pro bono work. The position calls for a hands-on, collaborative expert who can guide teams, coach colleagues, and help build the practice.
