Sensata Technologies•Attleboro, MA
•$181,600 - $249,700

About The Position

The Expert AI Architect serves as Sensata’s enterprise AI architecture authority, defining standards, frameworks, and best practices for scalable, secure, and responsible AI solutions. The role drives architectural consistency across AI platforms, agents, models, integrations, and governance, and guides technical direction across engineering, IT, cybersecurity, and business teams. The position owns and evolves the enterprise AI architecture vision, multi-year roadmap, reference architecture, and Azure platform blueprint. It provides authoritative direction for end-to-end AI ecosystems and establishes patterns for agents, retrieval-augmented generation, model services, LLM gateways, identity, observability, cost controls, CI/CD, and infrastructure as code. The architect builds reference implementations and reusable components, leads design reviews and build/buy/reuse decisions, and sets standards for model selection, evaluation, LLMOps/MLOps, security guardrails, and production readiness. The role translates complex business priorities into practical, scalable architectures that meet security, privacy, regulatory, and compliance requirements. It aligns technical and business stakeholders, guides teams through implementation and operational readiness, advises on adoption of emerging AI capabilities, and mentors senior technical professionals. Priority AI solutions connect to core enterprise systems across supply chain, commercial, quality, and engineering, with the goal of scaling from pilot to production.
