About The Position

Pinterest is seeking an Experiential Manager to join their award-winning in-house creative team, the House of Creative. This role will focus on bringing the Pinterest brand to life through events, experiences, and programming. The Experiential Manager will be responsible for developing and executing programs that enhance understanding of Pinterest, foster brand loyalty, and promote Pinterest as a content, advertising, and shopping platform. The ideal candidate is a proactive, problem-solving collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced, positive environment and is dedicated to delivering high-quality, on-brand experiences.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of owning and executing experiential programs that translate product and brand stories into impactful activations, ideally across multiple markets or regions.
  • 6+ years of experience in event production, preferably from a mix of agency and in-house roles.
  • Strong program/project management skills, including building and managing scopes, timelines, RFPs, vendor coordination, risk identification, and post-event evaluation.
  • Solid, hands-on production knowledge and acumen in fabrication, staging, logistics, and on-site operations, with the ability to navigate constraints with practical solutions.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills and experience working directly with internal partners and agencies, including setting expectations, communicating trade-offs, and maintaining trust.
  • Clear, confident communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present plans, respond to feedback, and represent work in reviews.
  • A strong creative point of view with the ability to contribute thoughtful, on-brand ideas and think beyond the obvious to create visually compelling, memorable experiences.
  • Comfortable leveraging AI tools in day-to-day work to improve efficiency, performance, and outcomes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute experiential programs end-to-end, from planning and pre-production through on-site execution and post-event debriefs and reconciliation, ensuring alignment with key messaging, brand standards, and business goals.
  • Contribute to the creative development of events and experiences by partnering with designers, writers, and strategists to shape concepts that translate product and brand stories into impactful activations.
  • Maintain a high standard of craft and quality, ensuring agency and vendor output meets Pinterest’s brand guidelines, experiential principles, and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Comms, Policy) to gather insights and develop compelling stories and attendee journeys for regional and global audiences.
  • Manage agencies, timelines, budgets, and project workstreams, providing clear updates to stakeholders and escalating risks or trade-offs as needed.
  • Support production craft across key elements such as talent, venues, production design, activations, merchandise, and partnerships, ensuring deliverables are feasible, on-brand, and logistically sound.
  • Build and track project budgets, make sound recommendations, and maintain accountability for scope, cost, time, and quality.
  • Coordinate and contribute within project teams, aligning roles, timelines, and deliverables, and ensuring smooth collaboration.
  • Support contract and vendor management, including scoping, bidding, and day-to-day oversight.
  • Present project plans and updates to stakeholders, participate in reviews, synthesize feedback, and keep teams inspired and focused.
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate planning and performance, find operational efficiencies, and build frameworks for scaling impact.
