About The Position

As an Experiential Events Manager at Pogo, you'll own conferences, dinners and IRL events as core growth channels. You'll run a high volume of events year-round, end-to-end, from logistics and project management to evaluating which ones are worth doing again — and bring creative, memorable activations to how Pogo shows up in person. This role is focused on driving meaningful business impact through events, with an emphasis on ROI, pipeline generation, and relationship-building. It requires hands-on operational execution, autonomy, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, less structured environment. Travel is a significant component, with approximately 2x monthly travel expected.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of experience in conference servicing, field marketing, experiential programs, or events at a tech company or creative agency.
  • Strong project management skills to handle multiple events with many moving parts.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with event hosts, venues, and partners.
  • Excellent taste and creative instinct for event aesthetics and experiences.
  • Ability to honestly evaluate spend and cut underperforming events.
  • Operates autonomously, identifying opportunities and managing vendors independently.
  • Willingness to travel up to 2x a month (primarily within the US).
  • Actively uses AI tools in workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end logistics for conference and event programs, including venues, vendors, travel, materials, staffing, and follow-up.
  • Build and maintain relationships with event organizers, venues, and partners.
  • Evaluate ROI for every event, determining their value and areas for improvement.
  • Contribute creative and memorable activations for Pogo's in-person presence, including event displays, dinner menus, and swag.
  • Design creative, experiential activations to make Pogo stand out to insights and research leaders.
  • Travel up to 2x a month to ensure high-priority events run smoothly.
  • Partner with sales and marketing to ensure events convert.
  • Run guerrilla marketing experiments to gain attention at key events.
