About The Position
Jackson Hewitt is seeking experienced tax preparers for seasonal work. The role involves conducting personalized client interviews, preparing accurate federal and state tax returns using proprietary tax preparation software, identifying applicable deductions and credits, and providing exceptional customer service while building lasting client relationships. Requirements
- At least one season of professional tax preparation experience.
- Familiarity with federal and state individual income tax returns, tax deductions, credits, and filing requirements.
- Commitment to outstanding customer service and building strong client relationships.
- Ability to explain tax information clearly and professionally.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Comfort using computers, tax preparation software, and digital tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Valid IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
