About The Position

Jackson Hewitt is seeking experienced tax preparers for the upcoming tax season. The role prepares accurate federal and state tax returns, identifies deductions and credits, and provides exceptional customer service using the company's proprietary tax preparation software. The position is seasonal and may be available part-time or full-time. Pay is hourly, with performance-based bonus opportunities. The company offers training and ongoing support, and there may be opportunities to return for future tax seasons or advance into leadership roles.

Requirements

• At least one season of professional tax preparation experience.
• Knowledge of individual federal and state income tax returns.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN); the company can assist with application or renewal.
