About The Position
CLA is hiring an Experienced Tax Associate for its Manufacturing practice. The role offers opportunities to develop industry expertise and work with clients as an industry consultant. The associate works with the tax team to prepare and review tax returns, support tax compliance, answer routine client tax questions, and gather information needed to complete returns. The role also includes tax research and special projects, preparing simple tax returns, training interns, and helping clients resolve complex issues and achieve results.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- One year of relevant experience preferred; prior experience through internships may be acceptable.
- Ready to help others and join a high-performing team.
- Ability to solve issues and confidently bring solutions forward.
- Interest in working with clients to help their businesses succeed strategically.
Nice To Haves
- Eligible to sit for the CPA exam preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review tax returns with the tax team.
