Clay Cooley Nissan of Irving is currently looking to add an experienced, skilled, and Nissan-Certified Service Technician who can perform diagnoses and repairs in all areas, in addition to specialized areas of repair.

Requirements

Automotive Technician knowledge/experience required.
Nissan Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations required.
Flexible schedule
Applicants must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the United States.
Applicants must have a valid driver's license and must complete the pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

Performs work as outlined on the Technician's Repair Order in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
The Service Technician executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Tests components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
Diagnoses the cause of any malfunction and performs repair; The Service Technician connects with the Parts Department to obtain needed parts.
Communicates with Service Advisor if additional work is needed, if work outlined is unnecessary, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
Ensures customers' vehicles are kept clean. The Service Technician will notify Service Advisor of any changes to the appearance or condition of the vehicle.
Understands, acknowledges, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
