About The Position

This role supports clients with a range of accounting and finance tasks. The position may serve in various capacities, including Accounting Manager, Controller, or Project Manager, and works with multiple client stakeholders. Responsibilities include preparing accounting reports, overseeing period-end closes, supporting due diligence and SEC reporting, and resolving complex accounting issues, including assisting with implementation of new accounting pronouncements such as ASC 606 and ASC 842.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; focus in Accounting preferred.
• Five or more years of related experience required.
• Experience working with public, private, or private equity companies required.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or SAP required.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook required.
• Technical skills commensurate with level of experience.
• Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, including under pressure.
• Be a team player who contributes knowledge and asks for help when needed.
• Learn quickly and work ethically and effectively.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with customers at all levels and internal organizations.
• Continually strive to improve interpersonal, management, functional, and technical skills.

Nice To Haves

• Professional services industry experience.
• Public accounting experience.
• Advanced-level MS Excel experience.
• CPA certification.
• Ability to travel a minimum of 50%.

Responsibilities

• Serve in various capacities for clients, including Accounting Manager, Controller, or Project Manager.
• Manage multiple client stakeholders simultaneously.
• Prepare miscellaneous accounting reports.
• Participate in ad hoc projects.
• Oversee all aspects of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
• Perform due diligence procedures for clients.
• Assist clients with SEC reporting.
• Resolve complex accounting issues and assist clients with implementing new accounting pronouncements, including ASC 606 and ASC 842.
• Perform other duties as required.
