Join Cleveland Clinic's New Neurological Institute, expanding with a new, one-million-square-foot, 15-floor, state-of-the-art facility on Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. This facility is designed to elevate care for complex neurological conditions, including spine injuries, epileptic seizures, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, and stroke. It brings every stage of care under one roof, featuring dedicated spaces for outpatient services, surgery, stepdown, ICU, epilepsy monitoring, additional operating rooms, and expanded ambulatory, infusion, imaging, EMG, sleep, and rehabilitation services. New caregivers are welcomed to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and contribute to nationally recognized, innovative neurological care. Cleveland Clinic’s M80 Neuro Transitional Care Unit is a highly specialized and diverse unit that provides treatment for neurological med/surg patients needing both stepdown and intermediate levels of care. This unit commonly performs complex neurological procedures, including intracranial pressure monitoring, seizure monitoring, lumbar punctures, and central/arterial line placements. Nurses are an integral part of promoting early patient mobility in this unit, which is facilitated by modern equipment such as ceiling lifts and other devices to ensure patient and caregiver safety.
