About The Position
The new state-of-the-art Neurological Institute at Cleveland Clinic, scheduled to open in 2026, will focus on treating patients suffering from brain tumors, strokes and complex spine injuries. This facility houses a 210-bed inpatient area, offering unique modular spaces, floor-to-ceiling windows, all-private rooms, video monitoring technologies and specific rooms for relaxation. The G20/H22 Neurological Intensive Care Unit provides complex neurological medical and surgical services. As a certified Comprehensive Stroke Center, this floor offers medical support for numerous conditions, including ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, subdural hematomas, status epilepticus/seizures, brain tumors, neuromuscular disorders and spinal injuries. As an RN on this team, you will deliver exceptional care, from initial introduction to final send-off. Within the Neurological Institute, you benefit from extensive hands-on experience using the latest technologies and insight from the best caregivers in the field. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN program)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) OR the American Red Cross
- One year of current acute care RN experience OR military RN experience

- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care.
- Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
- Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
- Educate patients and their families.
