About The Position

Shine Window Cleaning & Pressure Washing is looking for an experienced pressure washing technician to join our team in Southwest Florida. This is a pressure-washing and soft-washing position. The technician will primarily work alongside one of our veteran team members on residential and commercial properties. We are looking for someone who understands professional exterior cleaning and can contribute immediately while learning Shine’s systems and service standards. The ability to independently run a company truck, lead a helper, and manage larger projects is a major plus, but it is not required on day one.

Requirements

Professional pressure-washing or soft-washing experience is strongly preferred
Familiarity with surface cleaners and professional pressure-washing equipment
Knowledge of appropriate pressure and cleaning methods for different surfaces
Understanding of cleaning solutions, chemical ratios, and plant-protection procedures is preferred
Comfortable working outdoors and around water and cleaning solutions
Able to safely move hoses and equipment throughout a property
Roof-cleaning experience is a plus
Lift experience is a plus
Ability to run a truck, lead a helper, and manage jobs independently is a major plus
Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
Dependable, punctual, and professional
Strong customer-service and communication skills
Physically able to lift equipment and work outdoors in the Florida heat
Neat and professional appearance

Responsibilities

Perform residential and commercial pressure washing and soft washing
Clean driveways, sidewalks, pool decks, lanais, pool cages, building exteriors, pavers, and other exterior surfaces
Assist with roof soft washing when scheduled
Properly operate pressure washers, surface cleaners, hoses, pumps, reels, and chemical application systems
Select the appropriate pressure, cleaning method, and solution for each surface
Follow proper chemical-handling and jobsite safety procedures
Protect plants, landscaping, painted surfaces, fixtures, and customers’ property
Work alongside an experienced Shine technician
Assist with loading, inspecting, and organizing the company vehicle and equipment
Review work orders and understand the scope of each job
Identify rust, oil, oxidation, irrigation stains, damaged surfaces, and conditions outside standard cleaning
Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers
Complete a final inspection and maintain Shine’s quality standards
Keep tools, equipment, trailers, and company vehicles clean, stocked, and organized
