About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced or Senior Materials Management Analyst to join their team in Huntington Beach, CA. This role involves coordinating and scheduling the on-time delivery of complex parts and commodities according to established procedures. The analyst will perform audits and various forms of analysis on information from multiple sources to ensure accuracy regarding delivery schedules, inventory levels, and requirements. A key responsibility is to reconcile discrepancies in information to mitigate or minimize disruptions within the supply chain. The position also requires maintaining and updating information systems that distribute materials management data to relevant recipients, and coordinating the flow of this information both internally and externally. The analyst will interpret information to identify problems and supply chain trends or patterns, and collaborate with necessary organizations to resolve issues affecting the supply chain. Additionally, the role includes releasing orders to fabrication or assembly organizations to initiate product manufacturing. This position operates under general direction, and the company is hiring for a range of experience levels, including Experienced and Senior Materials Management Analysts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in one or a combination of the following domains: ERP, SAP
  • 5+ years of experience working on SAP MRP
  • 5+ years of experience reading and interpreting aerospace engineering drawings and blueprints

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors’ degree or higher
  • Experience Microsoft Office tools such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and schedules on time delivery of complex parts, commodities following established procedures.
  • Performs audits and other forms of analysis of information from multiple sources to determine accuracy relative to delivery schedules, inventories levels, requirements, etc.
  • Reconciles discrepancies in information to mitigate or minimize disruptions in the supply chain.

  • Coordinates the flow of materials management related information between and among internal and external recipients.
  • Interprets information to identify problems and supply chain trends or patterns.
  • Coordinates with required organizations to resolve problems affecting the supply chain.
  • Releases order to fabrication or assembly organizations to initiate manufacture of products.
