About The Position

The Finance Systems Operations Specialist provides planning, coordination, and analytical support to ensure effective execution of finance systems programs, events, and organizational initiatives. This role drives the team operating rhythm and strategy, tracks performance against plans, prepares leadership briefings, and delivers operational support to systems teams to enable timely, quality results and communication. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication, organization and change management skills with a proven ability to collaborate across teams to drive improvements and implement strategies.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with program management, project management and/or business operations
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint)
  • Experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools
  • Experience in researching, producing and presenting technical information
  • Experience in managing and facilitating meetings
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains project plans, schedules, and budgets for Finance Systems programs and initiatives
  • Prepares and coordinates architecture of meeting content, leadership briefings, and technical/informational materials
  • Develops, maintains and improves the Finance System operating rhythm aligned with business objectives
  • Collects, synthesizes, and analyzes data from multiple sources to inform decisions and produce actionable insights and recommendations
  • Plans and facilitates logistics for large meetings, workshops, and events; ensures materials, facilities, and audio visual (A/V) needs are addressed
  • Tracks execution of project plans, monitors risks and issues, and communicates status, variances, and mitigation plans to stakeholders
  • Supports organizational facility requirements and coordinates cross-functional dependencies
  • Serves as a reliable business partner, anticipating stakeholder needs and delivering service with a focus on excellence
  • Promotes continuous improvement and innovation in processes, tools, and meeting designs
