About The Position

The Boeing Company BGS Commercial Modifications Engineering is seeking a proactive and results-driven Engineering Business Operations Specialist (Experienced) in Long Beach, California to support our Commercial Engineering and leadership teams. The Commercial Engineering and leadership team fosters a collaborative culture that values initiative, clarity, and measurable outcomes. In this role, you will streamline daily operations, create polished executive presentations, and drive high-impact business initiatives that support engineering excellence across modification programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in the use of Microsoft Excel to gather, format, and manipulate data using mathematical, accounting and organizational functions/formulas/macros within the tool for the purpose of performing both business related and technical analyses
  • 5+ years of experience with dashboards, reports, and KPIs
  • 5+ years of experience in preparing and delivering a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation to leadership or a customer group
  • 5+ years of experience maintaining and/or developing Operational / Productivity metrics
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

  • Track, analyze, and report operational metrics and KPIs to inform leadership decisions and drive continuous improvement
  • Develop and deliver concise, data-driven presentations, decision packages, and reports for leadership forums
  • Perform data analysis and prepare management briefings summarizing findings and recommended actions
  • Provide cross-functional business operational support to ensure timely, effective execution of initiatives
  • Integrate program engineering management activities with business operations to align priorities and improve outcomes
  • Work on-site 5 days per week and perform duties under general direction; may support other programs or tasks as assigned
