About The Position
ARS, the nation’s largest provider of residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services, is hiring experienced HVAC professionals for two opportunities: HVAC Service Technician and HVAC Lead Installer. Candidates can apply once and speak with the team about the position that best matches their experience. Candidates are not required to have both service and installation experience.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of residential HVAC service experience (for Service Technician)
- At least 2 years of residential HVAC installation experience (for Lead Installer)
- EPA certification or ability to obtain it
- Strong troubleshooting and customer-service skills
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to enter attics and crawlspaces and lift heavy equipment
- Ability to lead installations with an assigned helper (for Lead Installer)
- Working knowledge of applicable local inspection codes (for Lead Installer)
- Must pass required background and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, and repair residential HVAC systems. Clearly explain findings and recommended solutions to customers while providing professional, high-quality service.
- Remove outdated HVAC equipment and install, start up, and troubleshoot new residential HVAC systems. Lead each installation with the support of an assigned helper while maintaining high standards for quality, professionalism, and efficiency.
