Today we are expanding our renewable energy division and seeking an experienced Solar Installation Technician to join one of the region’s leading solar installation teams. This position is ideal for a solar professional who understands the demands of residential and commercial solar installations, works well as part of a team, and is committed to delivering exceptional results for customers. Requirements
- Proven experience installing residential and commercial solar energy systems.
- Strong understanding of solar equipment, mounting systems, and installation best practices.
- Experience in reading plans, schematics, and installation drawings.
- Knowledge of NEC requirements and local building codes.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
- Professional communication skills and a team-first attitude.
- OSHA certification and solar industry certification.
- Valid driver’s license and resides within the Greater St. Louis area.
Responsibilities
- Installing solar panels, racking systems, inverters, and related equipment.
- Performing site assessments.
- Interpreting plans and drawings.
- Testing and troubleshooting system performance.
- Documenting completed work.
- Working closely with project managers, customers, and fellow team members to ensure every project meets our standards for quality and safety.
- Work on both rooftop and ground-mounted systems while helping deliver clean, reliable energy solutions to our customers.
