The HVAC Service Technician performs service work and site maintenance for national accounts. The role involves servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction. Technicians diagnose and repair HVAC systems at customer locations, perform preventative maintenance and site surveys, and prepare for on-site installations and repairs. The position also includes inspecting and maintaining company vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Service products and equipment on assigned projects and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Use hand tools and follow blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
- Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations.
- Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
- Prepare for on-site installations and repairs by examining building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work as necessary.
- Inspect vehicles by checking their condition and cleanliness.
- Maintain vehicles by keeping service records, scheduling service, and completing repairs and maintenance.
