Interstate Roof is seeking experienced full-cycle sales closers who can independently generate leads, inspect roofs, close deals, and manage projects through completion. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor, commission-only role designed for individuals who are confident in the field, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and capable of handling the full sales process from start to finish. The ideal candidate is financially disciplined, physically capable, and experienced in commission-based sales environments.
Requirements
- Proven sales experience (roofing, construction, or similar industries preferred)
- Strong closing ability with experience in full-cycle sales roles
- Comfortable with door-to-door prospecting and self-generated leads
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, commission-only environment
- Physically capable of climbing roofs and performing inspections
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Financial stability to manage delayed commission payouts
- Independent, self-managed individuals who thrive in a 1099 contractor environment

- Commission payouts are typically delayed approximately 3 months due to project timelines
- Candidates must be financially prepared to operate without immediate income during ramp-up
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle capable of daily travel between appointments, inspections, and job sites
- Candidates should be comfortable using their own vehicle extensively for field sales activities and project management responsibilities

Responsibilities
- Generate and self-source leads through door-to-door outreach, referrals, and networking
- Conduct roof inspections and identify damage or replacement needs
- Educate homeowners on roofing systems, materials, and solutions
- Guide customers through insurance claims when applicable
- Present proposals and close residential roofing projects
- Manage projects from sale through completion, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain consistent communication with homeowners and internal teams
- Track pipeline activity and customer interactions
- Travel between appointments, inspections, neighborhoods, and project sites using your own reliable vehicle
