About The Position

Paragon Construction Company is hiring an Experienced Exterior Carpenter for its Outdoor Division in Midlothian, Virginia. This is a full-time, onsite role working on high-quality residential remodeling projects, including decks, porches, framing, windows, doors, exterior trim, additions, and outdoor living spaces. The company provides tools, equipment, transportation, support, and benefits. The position is intended for an experienced carpenter who takes pride in craftsmanship, contributes reliably on jobsites, and cares for both projects and customers.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional carpentry or construction experience.
Solid residential framing and carpentry skills.
Ability to read plans and measure accurately.
Ability to solve problems in the field.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, professional, safety-conscious, and respectful of customers and their homes.
Commitment to high-quality craftsmanship and customer care.

Responsibilities

Build and remodel decks and outdoor living spaces.
Build screened and covered porches.
Perform framing and structural carpentry.
Install windows and exterior doors.
Perform exterior trim, finish work, and improvements.
Work on additions and other residential remodeling projects.
Read plans, measure accurately, and solve problems in the field.
Work independently and collaboratively while maintaining craftsmanship, safety, professionalism, and respect for customers and their homes.
