About The Position

O'Hanlon Paving, a proud member of The Fath Group of Companies, has been a key player in the Edmonton, road construction industry for over 65 years. We are currently looking for experienced Equipment Operators with air brakes to work seasonally in a full-time capacity, in Edmonton. We are looking for operators of skid steer, rollers along with other supporting equipment. The successful candidate must be able to align with the company's core values: Commitment, Attitude and Respect.

Requirements

• Required experience in the operation of construction-related equipment
• Ability to work extended hours including weekends when required
• Open to training & learning safe operation of different equipment
• Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license with air brakes and access to a reliable vehicle to travel to work sites.
• Attention to detail, able to communicate in a courteous and professional manner
• Ability to follow directions
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Willingness and ability to work extended hours and weekends when required

Nice To Haves

• Class 3 license would be beneficial for water truck duties
• Valid safety certifications are an asset but not essential

Responsibilities

• Equipment operating with some laborer duties when required
• Perform a variety of tasks involving some manual labour
• Work with minimal supervision
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
• Other duties as required
