About The Position
BrightStar Care is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and experienced CNA to provide high-quality one-on-one care for a VIP client. This is an excellent opportunity for a CNA with experience providing total care and caring for high-acuity clients. You will always work alongside another CNA — you will never be working alone. Requirements
- Current Texas CNA certification required
- 2–3 years of CNA experience
- Experience providing total care
- Experience using a Hoyer lift
- Current CPR certification
- Negative TB test (skin test or chest X-ray)
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform the physical requirements of the position
- Professional, dependable, and compassionate approach to patient care
- Resume required with relevant CNA experience

Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, personalized care in the client's home
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Provide total care, including safe transfers using a Hoyer lift
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding
- Perform light housekeeping and linen changes
- Provide transportation to appointments and errands, as needed
- Encourage mobility and follow the client's individualized plan of care
- Monitor and report changes in the client's condition to the Director of Nursing
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for the client
