About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care of Olney is looking to expand its Caregiver family. We are hiring kind, compassionate, and dedicated CNAs and GNAs that bring their passion to work. Home Helpers Home Care has been providing exceptional comprehensive home care services for over 25 years. We offer support from the owners, continuous training and learning opportunities, career growth, competitive pay rates, and an atmosphere of appreciation. We are currently looking to staff part-time caregiver shifts every other Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, starting May 16. This position is for a bedridden client, so experience with total care is preferred.

Requirements

• Current CPR and First Aid Certification
• Current CNA license
• Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have good oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to understand care plans and assessments
• Must have current doctor's medical health clearance to work which includes a negative TB Test
• Experience with total care is preferred

Responsibilities

• Personal Care (bathing, dressing, and transfers)
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
• Assist with medication reminders
• Engage the client in conversation and activities
