About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care of Olney is seeking an experienced, kind, compassionate, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or GNA to provide comprehensive home care services for a bedridden female client, approximately 200 lbs., who has dementia. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of CNA experience and prior experience working with dementia clients. The role involves providing total care in bed, assistance with repositioning, personal care, light exercises, laundry, meal preparation, light housekeeping, monitoring and reporting changes, medication reminders, and engaging the client in conversation and activities. Requirements

3–5 years of CNA experience
Prior experience working with dementia clients
Current CPR and First Aid Certification
Current CNA license
Must have reliable transportation to work
Must have good oral and written communication skills
Must be able to understand care plans and assessments
Must have current doctor's medical health clearance to work, which includes a negative TB Test

Responsibilities

Total care provided in bed

Personal Care (bathing, dressing, and transfers)
