About The Position

Alvita Care is seeking Home Health Aides (HHA) and Personal Care Aide (PCA) caregivers to support clients throughout Nassau County communities. We're seeking dependable, compassionate individuals who are committed to providing quality, attentive care. Alvita Care is a mission-driven home healthcare and personal care agency with four branch locations and a team of 500+ caregivers. We provide In-Home Personal Care, Alzheimer's & Dementia Care, Palliative & Hospice Care, and Geriatric Care Management services, and we're proud to hold The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval. All of our clients are private-pay — we do not bill Medicare or Medicaid.

Requirements

• NYS-certified Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA)
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Dependable, patient, and client-focused approach to care
• Professional and discreet in all interactions
• Current medical clearance/vaccinations (or willingness to complete)
• Completion of Alvita Care's onboarding process required before taking cases

Nice To Haves

• Home care experience preferred
• Valid driver's license is a PLUS
• Ability to pass a drug screen or complete a Habituation Form
