About The Position

Amada Senior Care is seeking dependable, compassionate, and experienced caregivers in Richmond, TX, and surrounding areas. Our caregivers provide non-medical, in-home care to seniors, many of whom are veterans, helping them remain safe, comfortable, independent, and connected in their homes. Requirements

2 years of caregiving experience
Valid driver's license
Valid auto insurance
Reliable transportation
Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
Ability and willingness to travel within a 25-mile radius of your home address
Ability and willingness to work with both male and female clients
Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations
Supportive, compassionate, and professional approach to client care

Responsibilities

Providing companionship and meaningful social support
Assisting with personal hygiene and daily care, including showering, bathing, toileting, and dressing
Providing medication reminders
Assisting with mobility inside and outside the home, including doctor appointments and walks
Planning and preparing meals
Completing client shopping or accompanying clients while shopping
Performing basic housekeeping duties
Reporting unusual incidents and responding quickly and responsibly during emergencies
Providing activities and assistance that support essential activities of daily living
