About The Position
The Smoking Goat is an established French-inspired bistro in North Park seeking an experienced, professional server to join their front-of-house team. They are looking for someone confident working in a fast-paced, upscale dining environment who genuinely enjoys creating a warm, memorable experience for guests. The ideal candidate will possess extensive wine and spirit knowledge, be polished, dependable, and passionate about hospitality, with a genuine care for the business and a team mindset.
Requirements
- 5+ years of serving experience (restaurant or bar setting preferred)
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktails
- A team player who thrives in a high-volume environment
- Great communication and multitasking skills
- Someone who genuinely cares about guest experience — every table, every time
- Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, knowledgeable, and efficient service to every guest
- Learn and confidently speak to our menu, specials, and drink offerings
- Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to keep service running smoothly
- Help create a fun, welcoming atmosphere guests want to come back to
