About The Position
Max Burger, located in Avon, CT, is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Expeditor with open availability to join our opening team. Requirements
- Previous back-of-house experience is preferred, specifically expediting or food running
- Strong communication skills, acting as the liaison between kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Ability to stay organized and ensure accuracy and presentation in high-volume settings
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail to ensure dishes are presented beautifully
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry trays
- A team-oriented attitude, with a focus on collaboration and excellent service
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a focus on guest satisfaction
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of food orders from the kitchen to guests, ensuring dishes meet high standards for presentation and temperature
- Act as the liaison between the kitchen and front-of-house staff, communicating food orders and any special requests
- Assist in ensuring smooth kitchen operations and high standards of food presentation
- Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen, removing dirty dishes and utensils promptly
- Collaborate with the kitchen and wait staff to ensure all orders are accurately delivered in a timely manner
- Provide support as needed during high-volume service
