About The Position

The Expeditor, located in an air conditioned facility in Orange, TX, is committed to supporting Cloeren Incorporated continue to be the leader in extrusion die and feedblock quality and technology by maintaining and providing updates on customer orders being manufactured for the aerospace division.

Requirements

  • An associate degree, or equivalent years of experience, in supply chain management, or related field of study.
  • 2+ years of supply chain, production, manufacturing, and process improvement experience.
  • Effectively communicate in a positive and professional manner through written and verbal communications in all interfaces with customers/public, fellow employees, vendors, etc.
  • Ability to use appropriate computer programs (including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite) which includes having proficient computer skills and the ability to adapt and learn as programs and processes change.
  • Ability to work as a team member and exert initiative to work independently to reach a goal.
  • Ability to embrace change in the workplace while encouraging others to seek innovative approaches.
  • Ability to function effectively as a team player.
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule, as needed, to best serve our business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Tracking of parts and location within the machine shop in order to provide status updates which includes but not limited to data entry reporting.
  • Tracking travelers in the shop and ensuring they are completed accordingly.
  • Ensuring parts are identified according to the requirements on the travelers and/or process.
  • Ensure travelers are with parts at their processes.
  • Assisting management as needed.
  • Assist with the printing of travelers for the shop.
  • Assist the Administrative Assistant with entering and/or processing of customer purchase orders for sales orders.
  • Support long-term process improvement within the aerospace division.
  • Creating and inputting purchase orders within system.
  • Communicating with customers, as needed
  • Provide shipping notifications when parts/orders are scheduled to ship from the machine shop to the shipping department.
  • Performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
