The Expeditor III ensures timely delivery of materials and jobs to meet production schedules by coordinating with internal teams and monitoring workflow progress. This role identifies and resolves delays, communicates effectively with stakeholders, and supports production continuity through detailed analysis of schedules, specifications, and work-in-progress. It contributes to operational efficiency by reporting issues, interpreting technical drawings, and collaborating with senior management to drive results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years related experience, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • At least a year of purchasing or planning experience
  • Ability to climb and stoop
  • Ability to stand for sustained periods.
  • Ability to move arms, hands, and fingers.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to lift over 25 lbs. with assistance
  • Have the visual acuity to perform the given task
  • Ability to sit for sustained periods.
  • The ability to talk on the phone and use a computer for extended periods may be required.
  • Required to wear personal protective equipment where applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Work with internal customers in order to coordinate and Drive Deliveries to meet the production schedule.
  • Strong understanding of production schedules and production process/sequence.
  • Able to identify when delays to delivery schedule or production impacts and communicate needs to action owners.
  • Arranges disposition of jobs to meet production schedules.
  • Compiles and reviews production schedules, reports, and status/location to approach jobs in various stages of WIP.
  • Able to demonstrate to the customer their understanding through words and drawings.
  • Be able to work with senior management to create and compile day-to-day job-specific information through the use of detailed drawings, customer-supplied specifications, and customer interaction.
  • Reports any issues on equipment, tooling, resources, or anything that can affect production flow.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Experienced in product, organizing, integration, and control with respect to production delivery schedules.
