About The Position

This position supports the warehouse by identifying, collecting and sorting product for customer orders and prepare them for shipping as well as reviewing product that needs to be located and researched as to why it is being dispatched. May pull orders from inventory, deliver production material and supplies, or stage finished product.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
No previous experience required but previous warehouse work experience is preferred
Proficient with computers
Must be able to read a tape measure accurately
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and with a team
Ability to multi-task
Ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance and more than 50lbs using a team-lift
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Good hand-eye coordination
Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth vision and the ability to adjust focus

Responsibilities

Retrieve Customer orders and locate products and communicate locations with team members
Pull reports as needed from computer system and close out orders when complete
Follow established standard operation procedures
Sort and stack product accurately by type and size
Daily housekeeping of inventory racks and staging areas
Load and unload product manually
Follow established safety procedures
Package product as needed
Maintain a clean and safe working area
