About The Position

The practice is hiring an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) for an outpatient endodontic role in Venice, Florida. The assistant will support root canal treatments, consultations, radiographs, CBCT scans, and microscope-assisted procedures. Experienced endodontic assistants can contribute immediately, while qualified EFDAs with strong fundamentals may receive training in specialty workflows. The role offers a regular Monday–Thursday schedule, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, for approximately 32 hours per week, with no call. Occasional half-day Fridays may be needed during busy season, and additional Friday hours may be available. The position is with a small, established team and includes the opportunity to take on additional responsibility as the practice grows.

Requirements

• Hold the required Florida EFDA certification.
• Have the required radiography credential.
• Be confident taking high-quality dental radiographs.
• Be dependable and professional.
• Be comfortable supporting both clinical and administrative needs.

• Laser experience.
• Strong fundamentals; new graduates with the required credentials may be considered.
