About The Position
Brilliant Smiles - Xenia is seeking a skilled Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join their dedicated team. The practice is committed to providing exceptional dental care in a welcoming and comfortable environment. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, make a meaningful impact on patients' oral health, and contribute to the mission of creating brilliant smiles and improving oral health in Xenia, Ohio. The position is for Monday through Thursdays, 8 am to 5 pm, within a supportive and collaborative environment where skills and contributions are valued.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- CPR Certification
- Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) and X-ray Certification (Required) in Ohio
Nice To Haves

- Self Motivated, Punctual, Team Player
- Open Dental Experience Preferred
- Proficiency in dental assistant terminology and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various treatment procedures.
- Perform expanded functions including restorative procedures, coronal polishing, and sealant placement.
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient visits.
- Provide chairside assistance and support to the dental team.
- Take and develop dental radiographs.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care.
