About The Position
American Dental Solutions is hiring a licensed Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) for our patient-focused dental practice in Berks County, PA. This is a full-time clinical role with a consistent daytime schedule, no evenings, no weekends, and long-term stability. As an EFDA at American Dental Solutions, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality restorative treatment and chairside support. You’ll work alongside an experienced clinical team in a positive, collaborative environment focused on patient comfort, clinical efficiency, and reliable scheduling.
Requirements
- Active Pennsylvania EFDA license (required)
- Prior experience in a dental practice preferred
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and clinical accuracy
- Team-oriented, dependable, and committed to quality care
Responsibilities
- Perform clinical EFDA duties including restorations, impressions, sealants, and assisting with restorative dentistry
- Prepare treatment rooms, materials, and instruments to support efficient patient flow
- Support dentists during procedures with strong chairside skills
- Document treatment information accurately and maintain patient records
- Provide patient education and ensure a positive, comfortable experience
