About The Position
Keystone Dental Care is seeking a full time Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join the team. Keystone Dental Care is dedicated to providing access to good oral health care for our patients, with a focus on prevention.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED required
- Certification in Dental Radiology in the state of Pennsylvania
- Maintains a current Pennsylvania Expanded Functions License
- Current CPR certification
Nice To Haves
- Two years' experience as an expanded function dental assistant
- Able and willing to learn, to expand abilities and to grow with the facility
Responsibilities
- Assisting the dentist and hygienist chair side
- Reception
- Inventory
- Maintenance of patient records
- Preparation and sterilization of instruments/equipment
- Capturing radiographs
- Providing knowledge of oral hygiene instruction/education to patients
- Tidiness of treatment areas
- Assisting the rest of the dental team in expediting patient care whenever possible
