About The Position

Woodland Park Dental Group, an established family dental practice serving the community for over 20 years, is seeking an experienced Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join their team full-time. The practice is located west of Colorado Springs and offers a supportive team environment, a beautiful office, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

• 2+ years of EDDA experience required
• X-ray certification required
• CPR Certification or willing to obtain

Nice To Haves

• Expanded Duty Dental Assistant certification preferred
• Certified Dental Assistant preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist chairside using four-handed dentistry
• Take impressions, X-Rays and scan with an iTero
• Place all classes of fillings and fabricate temp crowns
• Sterilize dental instruments according to OSHA regulations
• Set up and breakdown of operatories
• Present and enter treatment plans into Denticon
• Assist with stocking and ordering inventory
