Position Overview We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and patient-focused Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our high-performing clinical team full-time. In this role, you will work closely with our dentists to deliver exceptional comprehensive care while utilizing your advanced clinical certifications to keep our patient experience seamless and efficient.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of verified experience working as an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) is required.
  • Active state-required credentials/certifications (including coronal polishing, radiation safety, etc).
  • Proficiency with digital X-rays and digital scanners.
  • Strong communication skills, a warm patient-first demeanor, and a collaborative team-player mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CBCT is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform expanded duties including coronal polishing, applying sealants, placing and finishing fillings, and fabricating temporary crowns & bridges.
  • Expertly assist dentists during a variety of general, cosmetic, and advanced implant dental procedures.
  • Comfortably prepare patients for treatment, take digital X-rays/CBCT scans, and provide clear, empathetic post-operative care instructions.
  • Prepare, sterilize, and organize instruments and equipment while strictly upholding cleanliness and compliance with OSHA and safety regulations.
  • Manage patient records accurately and assist with scheduling appointments as needed to maintain an efficient daily workflow.
