About The Position
Big Smiles, a school-based mobile dental practice, is seeking a Full-time Expanded Duties Dental Assistant Team Lead in Frankfort, Louisville, KY and surrounding areas to help provide dental care to underserved children at their school. Our innovative in school dental program offers something different than a traditional dental practice. With a workday that ends with the school day and no nights or weekends, our program is perfect for people looking for a diverse and different working environment, working parents and anyone who wants to make a difference in the dental field.
Requirements
- X-Ray Certified
- Sealant Certified
- Coronal Polishing Certified
- CPR certification card
- Kentucky State Driver's License, and a willingness to travel locally is a must
- Working experience as a Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA)
- Digital X-ray Imaging experience
- Works well with children
- Team player and able to work on a small team
- Able to lift and carry equipment for set-up and take down. Up to 50 lbs.
- Works well in fast-paced environment; organized and detail-oriented; able to multi-task
Responsibilities
- Dental Assisting Services during mobile dental clinics
- Digital X-ray Imaging
- Patient Records Charting
- Equipment Set-up, Breakdown, and Sterilization Assistance
- Travel Daily to and from school sites
