About The Position
Big Smiles, a school-based mobile dental practice, is seeking a Full-time Expanded Duties Dental Assistant Team Lead in Frankfort, Louisville, KY and surrounding areas to help provide dental care to underserved children at their school. Our innovative in-school dental program offers something different than a traditional dental practice. With a workday that ends with the school day and no nights or weekends, our program is perfect for people looking for a diverse and different working environment, working parents and anyone who wants to make a difference in the dental field.
Requirements
- X-Ray Certified
- Sealant Certified
- Coronal Polishing Certified
- CPR certification card
- Kentucky State Driver's License, and a willingness to travel locally is a must
- Working experience as a Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA)
- Digital X-ray Imaging experience
- Works well with children
- Team player and able to work on a small team
- Able to lift and carry equipment for set-up and take down. Up to 50 lbs.
- Works well in fast-paced environment; organized and detail-oriented; able to multi-task
Responsibilities
- Dental Assisting Services during mobile dental clinics
- Digital X-ray Imaging
- Patient Records Charting
- Equipment Set-up, Breakdown, and Sterilization Assistance
- Travel Daily to and from school sites
