About The Position
Sports Physical Therapy has an immediate opportunity for a dynamic individual to work as an Exercise Specialist in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic and sports physical therapy clinic in Canyon Park, Washington. The role supports daily patient care under the direction of physical therapists by carrying out treatment-related exercise programs and other patient-related tasks as needed. SPT Canyon Park is a high-energy, movement-focused clinic serving active adults and athletes. Its open-gym environment emphasizes active rehabilitation, progressive loading, and real-world results. The Exercise Specialist helps patients through rehabilitation exercises, contributes to a welcoming clinic experience, and supports an organized, safe, and efficient clinic.
Requirements
- Interest in or a degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Professionalism, confidentiality, and commitment to patient safety.
- Ability to build rapport with and motivate patients.

- Prior experience in a medical or fitness setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist physical therapists with patient exercise programs and treatment-related tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service and help create a welcoming clinic experience.
- Support patients through rehabilitation exercises with clear instruction and encouragement.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinic environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, clinicians, and staff.
- Help ensure patient flow and efficiency throughout the day.
