We are currently seeking an outstanding Exercise Specialist/Wellness Assistant to join our team. Position to fill is Part-time; 10 – 20 hours per week (Monday – Saturdays; preferably mornings).
Requirements
- Obtained and/or pursuing an Exercise Science Degree or Related Field. For example: Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Human Performance
- Previous experience in Personal Training, Group Exercise
- Previous experience working with seniors.
Nice To Haves
- Certified with ACSM, NSCA, ACE, or AFAA
Responsibilities
- Instructs a variety of group and individual fitness programs for all levels of care.
- Provide 1 on 1 sessions (Personal Training) for seniors of all levels of care/special populations.
- Encourages social interaction and engagement.
- Ability to perform age specific fitness Assessments.
- Present and plan educational programs and topics.
