Exercise Specialist PRN - Sports Performance
About The Position
This position is under the guidance of the Exercise Therapist or Exercise Physiologist. They direct and document exercise programs for athletes and client populations. Essential Functions Delivers exercise plan as outlined in 1:1, small group, and large groups. Educates clients regarding exercise technique and appropriate use of equipment. Monitors progress and keeps clients progressing through program, updating program as needed. Documents results and training in a clear, concise, and timely manner. Maintains equipment to ensure a safe and functional environment. Maintains a clean and inviting work environment according to health department codes and facility standards.
Requirements
- Basic Life Support certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Education or applied experience in the field of physiology, sports science, or exercise science.
